Help, need advise on best brand of detector that can be mounted in a remote or hard to see location. Live in Northern VA where detectors are illegal. Currently have an older Bell that is remotely mounted, but it does not detect laser speed traps -- just found that out for sure in Maryland. Valentine, the best, doesn't allow for a remote mount even though they have a stealth cord; the unit is still mounted on the windshield. VA police aren't that easily fooled. What works the best, where do you mount it, and will it detect laser along with the other nefarious signals.
